Money
What does it cost?
In Australia, A$4.90 a month for the household, including GST. That is the Personal Plan, and it includes MyLife.
Every other time tracker is one you add, and they all cost the same: A$0.00 a month each, on top of the plan. Switch one on when you want it and off when you do not. The full list is on the pricing page for Australia.
Is it per person?
No. One price covers the whole household. Share the password with your family: there are no seats to count, no device limit, and nothing anywhere that tries to detect sharing. That is deliberate, not an oversight we have yet to close.
Do I need a card to start?
No. Signing up opens everything for 30 days with no card and no payment details. We could not charge you during that month even if we wanted to, because we do not have anything to charge.
What happens after the 30-day free month?
To carry on you subscribe, and it becomes A$4.90 a month plusA$0.00 for each time tracker you keep. If you do not, the apps close and nothing is deleted — your information stays exactly as you left it, and you can still download all of it. Subscribe later and it opens again.
Subscribing before the month is up does not start the payments early: the first one still falls on the day your free month ends. One free month per person — reopening a closed account does not start another.
Who handles the payments?
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details are typed on Stripe's own page and never reach our servers.
What if my card fails?
Nothing is deleted. We try again over the following days, and only if that does not work do the apps go on hold — your information stays exactly as it was, and paying restores access immediately. You can still sign in and download everything while an account is on hold.
Can I stop for a while without losing anything?
Yes. Pausing stops the payments and locks the apps, and deletes nothing. Restart whenever you like. A paused account is closed and deleted after 18 months, and we write to you before that.
Do you do refunds?
Phone us. There is no policy here designed to make it difficult.
Your information
Can you read what I put in?
No. Your information is encrypted with a key that only your password can unlock. We do not hold a copy of that key. This is not a promise about our conduct — it is a fact about the arithmetic.
Then what happens if I forget my password?
Your information is deleted. Resetting the password gives you the account back, but not what was in it, because there is no longer any way to open it. This is the cost of the protection above, and it falls on you rather than on us, which is why we say it everywhere.
So: keep your password somewhere you will still have it in a year, and download a copy of your data from time to time.
Can I get my data out?
Any time, as a plain JSON file, from the top of the Console or from your account page. No request, no waiting, no format nobody else can read. It works even when a subscription has lapsed — getting your own information out does not depend on paying, and never will.
Where is it held?
On servers currently in Australia. Where we host is an operational arrangement rather than a feature, and it may change; the privacy policy states the position.
Do you use tracking or advertising?
No. The site loads nothing from anyone else and ships no JavaScript at all — a build check enforces both, so it cannot quietly stop being true. There is one cookie, to keep you signed in.
What if I want everything deleted?
Your account page will do it — immediately, or on the last day of the period you have paid for, whichever you prefer. A scheduled closure can be called off any time before the day. After it, we keep a hash of the email address and the account ID, and nothing else.
Using it
What are the apps?
CashStream, MyLife, MyChild, Physique — all included, and every app added later at no extra cost. They are screens inside one account rather than separate products.
Is there a phone app?
No. It is a website, and it works in a phone browser. We would rather say that plainly than describe a web page as an app.
Does it work offline?
No.
Will it remind me about things?
Not yet. Email reminders are intended and are not built, and we will not pretend otherwise — the terms ask you not to rely on RyftSpace for critical reminders, and today that is simply accurate.
Can several of us use it at once?
Yes, on as many devices as you like. If two people change the same screen at the same moment, the second is told rather than quietly overwriting the first.
Does it give financial or medical advice?
No. It lays out what you tell it. It does not advise, recommend, or predict, and nothing in it should be relied on for a financial, medical or legal decision. Where a screen shows a total, it is arithmetic on figures you entered — not a forecast.
