We cannot read your information
What you type is scrambled before it is stored, using a key made from your password. We do not keep that key and cannot work it out. So if somebody stole every file we have, they would get nonsense — and so would we.
RyftSpace holds some of the most personal information a family has: a child's medical needs, an adult's health, and the household's money. This page says what is true today.
What you type is scrambled before it is stored, using a key made from your password. We do not keep that key and cannot work it out. So if somebody stole every file we have, they would get nonsense — and so would we.
If you forget your password, your information is gone. Not hidden, not recoverable by asking nicely — gone, because nothing in the world can unscramble it any more. That is the price of the sentence above, and it falls on you.
Keep your password somewhere you will still have it in a year — a password manager, or written down somewhere safe. And download a copy of your data now and then; the button is at the top of every screen.

The rest of this page is the same thing said precisely.Questions answers it a third way.
This site loads nothing from anyone else. No analytics, no fonts, no embedded scripts. The build fails if any appear.
